Job Description

At Starcom, we are looking for an energetic and innovative Account Manager to join our team, working with both AB InBev and Ubisoft. You will lead end-to-end media responses, push the boundaries of innovation, and thrive in a reactive, fast-paced environment. This dual-role offers an unparalleled opportunity to grow your account leadership and media planning expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with AB InBev and Ubisoft, fostering a ‘one team’ culture.
  • Media Planning: Demonstrate expertise in media planning fundamentals, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and detail.
  • Innovation and Change: Embrace change and push for innovative solutions that drive client success.
  • Market Understanding: Have a deep understanding of the gaming market and the communities that influence game releases.
  • End-to-End Leadership: Lead end-to-end media planning responses, showcasing strong channel knowledge and the ability to engage senior clients.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of media channels, and their applicable role in a media plan
    • Be able to build strong, trusted relationships with junior clients.
    • Must have experience in mentoring and guiding junior members of the team, with the view to begin to have their own first direct reports.
    • Show care for the team, and a desire to nurture their growth and development in the agency.
    • Must be able to demonstrate ‘brilliant basics’, and contribute to the team delivering excellence every day.
    • Must show enthusiasm and engagement in wider agency initiatives and opportunities
    • Show interest in building Starcom's reputation, positive relationships with media owners and partner agencies
    • It is important to be solutions focused, and drive this thinking in the wider team.
    • The Account Manager must have basic-to-good understanding of the SQUAD process.
    • Strong organisational skills - the Planning team sit at the heart of many other media teams, and coordinating various work streams in a skilled and efficient manner is imperative.
