ABOUT ADOBE.PUB

In March 2023, Publicis Media won the Adobe business for Europe, APAC, and Japan. We have established the Adobe.pub team to act as a seamless extension of the Adobe marketing team. Adobe.pub sits within the Zenith International team and benefits from the opportunity, infrastructure and culture of one of the best international agencies in London.

The EMEA team, which has 70 members spread across London and India, covers all EMEA activity, from establishing strategy to media planning, activating media across digital channels, and reporting on campaign results. We handle both performance and upper funnel activity and are dedicated to creating full-funnel strategies to maximise Adobe’s digital engagement. 

Job Description

This is an opportunity for an EMEA Strategy Associate Director.

This is an opportunity to work with one of the world's finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. It is an interesting, dynamic, and diverse workplace in which to manage significant budgets and learn from the top practitioners.

Working with the EMEA Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap for the account, translating innovation across Analytics, Audience, and Automation into planning and performance across lines of business. Working on a digital-first account, this is a role for a digital native with strong understanding of audiences across digital channels and touchpoints.

You will be responsible for:

Strategic Planning: Work closely with the clients and agency planning team to ensure the delivery of the optimal communications plan to deliver against Adobe’s growth objective:

  • Audience Centricity: Be an ambassador for the voice of audiences in media planning and reporting. Develop and disseminate a common understanding of key audiences across the Adobe.pub EMEA teams across all capabilities.
  • Digital and Data expertise: Drive strategic digital planning and fresh thinking that will lead to new communications levers and digital testing. Support the team in merchandising this thinking with clients.
  • Planning: Leverage agency planning tools and capabilities to drive planning and effectiveness of the Adobe media planning approach.

Strategic Growth: Work with clients to optimise their approach to media planning that accelerates its role as a driver of business growth including:

  • Growth Planning: Maintain high-level perspective on product portfolio, annual investments and associated targets and cascade that information consistently across the Adobe.pub EMEA team. Collaborate with the Global Strategy Lead, EMEA Strategy Lead and EMEA Planning team to identify and implement strategic growth levers across strategic performance pillars, including Ad Tech, Automation, Audience, and Creativity, underpinned by a strong testing, measurement and analytics agenda and roadmap.
  • Growth Delivery: Work with the Planning Lead to translate the Annual Growth plan into planning rationale that draws a closer connection between targets and quarterly/always on media plans.
  • Quarterly Planning: Support quarterly planning with strategic rigour, framing responses with clear media and market insight and storytelling to provide context and storytelling to the response and roadmap.
  • Test & Learn: Add strategic rigour, ambition and purpose to the broader Test & Learn programme in EMEA, seeking out hypotheses and data points to fuel full funnel planning and strategy and driving these into action.

Insight and Thought Leadership: Draw on best-in-class cases across Publicis Groupe to elevate the standard of insight language used across the entire Adobe.pub EMEA team:

  • Groupe Insight IP: Connect with the wider Publicis Groupe insight capabilities to bring fresh insight to the Adobe account that benefits the growth plan and elevates our value with clients
  • Insight Capability: Support in the scaling of insight practices and standards across Adobe.pub EMEA and draw on best practices from the global Adobe.pub community
  • Topical Deep Dives: Deliver research and analysis to support key business topics, from cookieless to market inflation and saturation, to contextualise Adobe performance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a media agency, either in a local market planning role or regional / EMEA roles
  • Collaborative and open, with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams, expertise, and seniority
  • Inquisitive, with a desire to question, learn, and pick up new skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with senior client stakeholders

CRITICAL SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and roadmapping
  • Ability to think critically and challenge / question assumptions to ensure the best possible delivery for your client
  • Strong analytical and data-led thinking, with an ambitious performance-based mindset with experience in structured testing and measurement
  • Proactive in exploring market and media trends, data analytics, and emerging data and technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of digital channels and touchpoints, particularly programmatic, social, and search
  • Experience with planning and insight tools such as GWI, Google Insight, Nielsen AdIntel, SimilarWeb beneficial
